Liability Waivers

All guests are required to acknowledge the applicable liability terms before their booking request is submitted. The waiver is presented during the booking process and must be accepted to proceed. Below are the full terms for each charter type.
Captained Charter Terms
Because Captain Rico operates and pilots the vessel at all times, you are not responsible for boating law compliance, navigation, or safe operation of the boat.
You are responsible for damage to the boat's interior, upholstery, or furnishings caused by food, beverages, negligence, or misuse during your charter. Normal wear is excluded.
Bareboat Charter Terms
As operator of this vessel under a Bareboat Charter, you assume full responsibility for:
- Safe operation of the boat at all times, and compliance with all federal, state, and local boating laws, including licensing/education requirements, speed limits, no-wake zones, and right-of-way rules.
- Any violation of law, including operating under the influence (DUI/BUI).
- Bodily injury or property damage to third parties arising from your operation of the vessel.
- All damage to the vessel — including the propeller, lower unit, engine, electronics, radio, and sound system — however caused.
The propeller and hull are photographed and inspected before and after every rental; you are responsible for any new damage found on return.
Assumption of Risk
Boating involves inherent risks including but not limited to drowning, collision, capsizing, and weather-related hazards. By booking a charter, you acknowledge these risks and agree to hold Waldo World Travel, LLC dba Leisure Travel Specialists, its owners, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or injuries arising from your participation in the charter, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Life Jackets & Safety Equipment
USCG-approved life jackets are provided for all passengers. Children under 13 must wear a life jacket at all times while on the vessel, per Texas law. All guests are briefed on safety equipment locations and emergency procedures before departure.
